According to research carried out by BIK [Loan Information Office] and the Confederation of Financial Enterprises, more and more Poles seem to consider diligent repayment of their financial debt not to be their moral duty. This is not true for online lenders. The debt repayment of online debt is close to the European standards (Eurostat). Krzysztof Przybysz commented on this phenomenon in a piece for Rzeczpospolita, a Polish daily newspaper.

According to BIK and BIG InfoMonitor research, as many as 2.79 million Poles are having problems with debt repayment, but this trend does not seem to apply to customers using the services of Internet loan companies. According to loando.pl data, the number of borrowers who repay their debt on time is growing every year. In 2018, the number of borrowers who paid back on time amounted to 83%. This year it amounts to 86%.

Krzysztof Przybysz, LOANDO Group CEO, commented: “The debt sustainability of people using our loan offers is at a very good level and it is constantly increasing and soon it is going to reach the highest European standards. Our customers are breaking the stereotype of a Pole who is borrowing but is not able to repay his debts.”
