“It happens that companies (especially those offering financial products) need customer data for verification purposes, but never ask for information used to log in to electronic banking. Data security should be taken care of already at the stage of applying for a good or service, using only a secure connection for this purpose, avoiding networks and public facilities. An important element increasing security is establishing strong passwords, which should not contain data such as first name, surname or date of birth ”.
