In 2019, a very important change was the introduction of the PSD2, which was created to open the industry to non-banking entities. In the coming year, fintechs will focus on simplifying GRC processes, conversion technologies and artificial intelligence.
Marcin Sikora, LOANDO Group Chief Sales Officer, commented: 2020 is going to be an important time for fintechs. There will be further opportunities for them to showcase their value in many areas. The regulatory sector will be a particularly important area. Regtechs will simplify risk and compliance management processes. There will also be a wide range of conversion technologies and business processes will be robotised.
