Already during the first internship, still outside LOANDO Group, I knew that I would like to have my future career in PR. In January 2017, I started the internships in LOANDO Group. At the time, I combined work with journalist studies at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. That I feared most at the beginning. I was not sure if I would be able to properly fulfil my duties both in regard to the university and towards my employer. Fortunately, the flexible working hours in the company enabled me to gain valuable experience without falling behind at the university.
After a three-month internship, I took the position of PR Specialist. I became a full member of the department and I started to co-create the communication of LOANDO Group under the watchful eyes of our Head of Communications – Michał Dąbrowski. I was immediately thrown at the deep end! Very quickly, however, I learned how to manoeuver in the fintech world, which is quite specific and very dynamic – there is no room for boredom.
One of the breakthrough moments in my professional career was the organisation of both editions of Fintech Brunch in cooperation with fintek.pl. These are periodical meetings devoted to the fintech industry. Thanks to all the experience acquired during the organisation of this initiative, I learned that event management and activities coordination is what I am fond of most in PR work.
Another important event for me was the foundation of the PR agency – KLANG! Media. The company is part of LOANDO Group, but it is a separate business entity, created on the basis of the current PR department of LOANDO Group. The foundation of the agency allowed me to gain experience in working with brands from various industries, including catering or entertainment. By joining the KLANG team! I was promoted to the position of PR Account Executive. I cannot wait for more challenges!
